How to get here
Falls Creek is just over a four and a half hour drive from Melbourne and a five hour drive from Canberra. You can also fly into Albury Airport via Melbourne or Sydney and either hire a car or book a private transfer service for the two hour drive to the resort.
Things to do
During the winter you can go skiing, tobogganing and snowboarding, whilst the kids can build snowmen or take junior ski classes. Don't forget the fireworks show on Thursday evenings with a visit by Pete the Snow Dragon which the kids will love!
Check out the mountain bike trails, the 40km mountain bike park and the numerous off-road 4WD tracks for some added excitement. Take to the Heritage Trail and visit Wallace Hut, one of Victoria's best known cattlemen's huts, try your hand at fly-fishing or boating on Rocky Valley Lake, visit the community gym, Falls Creek Museum or pamper yourself at the local the day spa.

Falls Creek has a range of quality shops and supermarkets, as well as a post office, newsagency and a medical centre that is open 7 days a week. For foodies, check out Astra for luxury fine dining, Milch Café Bar, Huski Kitchen, Elk Restaurant, the fantastic Be Foodstore and the renovated Frying Pan Inn.
There are plenty of pleasant spots for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Falls Creek, as well as cafes and coffee shops and they even have a donut shop! Not everything is open all year round, but there's enough to make your time in Falls Creek enjoyable and memorable.
